

Ali Gentry
Ali Gentry graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Government and History in 2020. While a student at UT, Ali interned for The Arc of Capital Area and The Arc of Texas. She served on The Arc of Texas’s Board of Directors from 2019 to 2024, and during that time chaired its Public Policy & Advocacy Committee.
Ali then obtained her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2023. During law school, she was the president of the Harvard Disabled Law Students Association and participated in the Health Law and Policy Clinic and the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic. Ali also interned at Disability Rights Texas and the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program.
Upon graduating from Harvard Law School, Ali was a litigation associate at Locke Lord LLP (now Troutman Pepper Locke) and worked on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. She then was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David C. Godbey of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Ali is also a member of the State Bar of Texas Disability Rights and Issues Committee.
